The ASMITHE Committee (Centre for Community Concern) of Seshadripuram Academy of Business Studies (SABS) UG College is a dedicated institutional initiative functioning with the approval of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to promote community engagement and social responsibility among students. The Committee aims to bridge the gap between the institution and society by identifying community needs, problems, resources, and opportunities for collective welfare. It focuses on planning and implementing programmes that address the felt needs of the community while creating awareness on social, environmental, health, and civic issues.

The objectives of the ASMITHE Committee include arousing public interest in community welfare, motivating individuals to participate in planning and execution of developmental programmes, and fostering democratic leadership qualities among students through active involvement and responsibility sharing. The Committee also works to ensure effective coordination among individuals, groups, NGOs, and organizations for the benefit of society. Through structured community outreach activities, students gain experiential learning, teamwork, leadership skills, and a strong service-oriented mindset, thereby contributing meaningfully to social upliftment and holistic development.
